The Redfourth Chorus United is an African choir conglomeration of a boys, girls, kids, young adult, women and a mens choir from Kenya. The choir currently has branches in Nairobi, Mombasa and Nakuru. Philip ‘Filah’ Tuju founded Redfourth Chorus in 2016 as a project of the Redfourth Academy of Music. The vision of the choir is to use music to bring social change and the members to be the ambassadors for environmental protection, health, peace, democracy, education, and child rights and other human rights initiatives. The choir currently boasts of a 500 voice strong choir of youth and adults from various schools, colleges and backgrounds. The motto of the choir is ‘In the spirit of music’. They believe that music brings people together regardless of class or language. Music builds bridges. Redfourth Chorus is focused on the values of equality and bringing people together. The Redfourth Chorus pilot project was run at Upper Hill School by long time voice trainer and Redfourth Academy of Music Chairman, Philip ‘Filah’ Tuju.
