Rita Springer

Rita Springer is an American Christian musician, singer, and songwriter known for her work in contemporary worship music. She began her career in the late 1980s and 1990s, initially writing music for the Vineyard Movement. She is recognized as a worship leader who has spent over 20 years touring, writing, and leading worship at churches and conferences. Springer has released numerous studio albums, including *Love Covers* (1995), *Battles* (2017), *LIGHT* (2020), and *Fed By Ravens* (2024). Her catalog includes songs such as "Defender," "Never Lost," "So Good," "There Is A Power," "It's Not Over," "Spotlight," "Midnight," and "Our God Is With Us." In 2008, she founded the DIVE (Deep - Innovative - Vertical - Expression) worship school to train and encourage worship leaders. Springer is also the founder of the nonprofit organization Wearing Justice, which supports creative content and artistic ministry. She is based in Texas and has been involved in mentoring songwriters and creatives for over 30 years.
