Spirit Of Praise

Spirit Of Praise is an award-winning South African gospel collective and ministry platform. Established in 2008 and associated with Spirit Music Group, the project is owned by Aubrey Peacock and Matthew Nkabinde. The collective functions as a platform for various solo gospel artists and vocalists to perform in live recorded shows. The group has released multiple live albums, referred to as "Volumes," recorded at venues including the Pretoria State Theatre and SunBet Arena. The series began with *Spirit Of Praise 1* in 2008 and has continued with releases such as *Spirit Of Praise 3*, *Spirit Of Praise 6*, *Spirit Of Praise 8*, *Spirit Of Praise 9*, *Spirit Of Praise 10*, and *Spirit Of Praise 11*. Notable songs in the collective’s catalog include "Ejwale," "No Other God," "Thath'Indawo," "Bamba Mzalwane," "Otshepehile," "Qala Enhlizweni," "Blessed Assurance," "Ukhona," "Ngu Jesu (Bayede)," and "Ufanelwe." Notable artists who have featured in the collective include Benjamin Dube, Omega Khunou, Dumi Mkokstad, and Zaza Mokethi. Spirit Of Praise has received nine Crown Gospel Awards and three South African Music Awards.
