Third Day

Third Day was a Christian rock band formed in 1991 in Marietta, Georgia. The group was founded by lead singer Mac Powell, guitarist Mark Lee, and Billy Wilkins. The band’s name is a reference to the biblical accounts of the resurrection of Jesus. Over their career, the group became a significant act in the Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) genre. The band released 14 studio albums and built a catalog that includes songs such as "Born in Bethlehem," "I Need A Miracle," "Cry Out To Jesus," "Soul On Fire," "Your Words," "Your Love Oh Lord," "Revelation," and "Consuming Fire." Their work earned them 4 GRAMMY Awards and 24 Dove Awards. The band also achieved 31 No. 1 singles and sold over 10 million albums. In 2009, Third Day was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. The band announced a reunion for a 30th-anniversary tour in 2026.
