Tye Tribbett is an American gospel singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Born Thomas Tyrone Tribbett on January 26, 1976, he was raised in a religious household in Camden, New Jersey, where his father served as a pastor and his mother as a choir director. He gained early recognition as the leader of the group Tye Tribbett & Greater Anointing (G.A.). Tribbett has been a prominent figure in gospel music for over two decades, known for blending traditional gospel with contemporary genres such as hip-hop and worship music. His career includes multiple studio and live albums, and he is recognized for his high-energy praise performances as well as intimate worship moments. He has also served as a leader in ministry, associated with Live Church in Orlando. His catalog includes songs such as "Work It Out (Live)," "He Turned It (Live)," "Stand Out," "We Gon’ Be Alright," "Anyhow," "Yahweh Flow," and "African Medley." Tribbett is a three-time Grammy Award winner, earning the 2024 Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album for *All Things New: Live In Orlando*. He has also achieved multiple #1 albums and #1 radio singles on Billboard charts.
