Unspoken

Unspoken is an American contemporary Christian band based in Nashville, Tennessee. The group was formed by lead singer Chad Mattson and guitarist Mike Gomez after they met during a missionary trip to the Dominican Republic. Their early lineup also included Jon Lowry and Ariel Munoz. Signed to Centricity Music, the band’s music blends elements of pop, soul, and Latin music with Christian worship themes. Lead singer Chad Mattson has publicly shared his personal testimony regarding his recovery from addiction through his faith in Jesus. The band’s mission is to serve as "unspoken testimonies" to God’s love and power. Their catalog includes songs such as "Start A Fire," "The Cure," "Reason," "Just Give Me Jesus," "God Help Me Now," "You've Always Been," "Good News," and "Who You Are." The band’s self-titled debut album *Unspoken* (2014) peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. The single "Start a Fire" reached No. 1 on the US Christian AC Indicator chart and is certified Gold by the RIAA. Another single, "The Cure," peaked at No. 35 on the Billboard Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart in 2017.
