West Coast Baptist College

West Coast Baptist College is an independent Baptist Bible college located in Lancaster, California, that produces Christian music through its official West Coast Choir and Orchestra ministry. The college was established in 1995 by Dr. Paul Chappell, who serves as its president, and it operates as an integrated auxiliary organization of Lancaster Baptist Church. The college maintains a music ministry featuring the West Coast Choir and Orchestra, an auditioned ensemble composed of students from various programs of study. The choir and orchestra perform and record Christ-honoring music for worship and various ministry functions throughout the school year. The music program offers a Church Music Concentration and a Music Education Concentration as part of its academic offerings. The West Coast Choir and Orchestra has recorded a number of songs, including "This Blood," "The Cause of Christ," "Nothing Ever Can, Nothing Ever Will," "For All He's Done," "Because He Lives (Amen)," "O Worship The King All Glorious Above," "I Believe," and "Not To Us." The college is accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS).
