Women In Praise

Women In Praise is a South African gospel music project and group associated with the Spirit of Praise choir. The concept project was developed to feature female artists from the choir, aiming to bring life to gospel music through collaborative performances by women with diverse musical backgrounds. The group has released multiple live and studio albums, including *Women In Praise Vol. 1*, *Vol. 2*, *Vol. 3*, and *Live In Johannesburg*. The *Vol. 3* album, recorded in Swaziland, achieved Platinum status and received nominations for Crown and SAMA awards. The *Live In Johannesburg* album was recorded at the Lyric Theatre on Women's Day, August 9, 2017. The group has been mentored by gospel artist Winnie Mashaba. Members of Women In Praise have included Zaza Mokhethi, Nothando, Precious Mosotho, Thando Makhaphela, Lydia Molisa, and Princess Jodwana. Their catalog includes songs such as "O Msindisi (Live)," "No One Can," "You Remain (feat. Neyi Zimu)," "Matla," "Moya Waka," "Musa Wakho," "Thixo Somandla (Live)," and "Ezulwini."
