ZimPraise

ZimPraise is an interdenominational praise and worship group based in Harare, Zimbabwe. The ensemble was founded in October 2006 by Macdonald "Macdee" Chidavaenzi, Garikai Ndanga, and Joseph Madziyire, who has also served as the group's CEO and musical director. The group's mission is to unite people from different denominations through music for the glory of God. The group's musical style is primarily contemporary gospel, with influences from R&B, hip-hop, and traditional Zimbabwean music. The ensemble has produced numerous projects, including multiple "seasons" of live recordings and "Hymns Night" projects. Their catalog includes albums such as *Sungano* (2013), *Humambo (Season 16)*, *Hallelujah (The Love Project Season 16)*, and *Mashoko* (2026). Other notable recordings include *Tiende Kudenga (Hymns Night 5)*, *Ndofara* (featuring Mechanic Manyeruke), *Dai Asiri Jesu*, and *Only You Be God*. The group has performed internationally, including tours in the UK, USA, Canada, and various African countries. In 2021, the organization announced a rebranding to "The Zimpraise Legacy Network" to encompass various platforms including music, television, and an academy.
