While writing songs in Nashville, Taya and her team had a session of conversation, personally for her is what God had to her upto that point of her life. And how the next chapter would be. John also had been thinking about some points "my yoke is easy" "my burden is light". The entire theme of the song is we do not lean on our own understanding. He doesn't leave us, when we lean on Him He will teach us walk and live the way he lives. The chorus is what is what Taya can stake her life upon, hopefully for many others who will also. When pressed down upon, even when we are faithless, He(God) remains faithful. we do not rely our own understanding, trusting in God we can confidently believe on the faithfulness of God.
