About Deitrick Haddon
Deitrick Haddon is a gospel singer, songwriter, pianist, arranger, record producer, and pastor known for blending contemporary gospel with R&B, hip-hop, and soul. He was born Deitrick Vaughn Haddon on May 17, 1973, in Detroit, Michigan. Haddon began his music career at a young age, directing the youth choir at his home church in Detroit.
He later formed the group Voices of Unity and recorded three albums with them before launching his solo career. His solo work gained significant attention with the 2002 album *Lost & Found*, which reached No. 1 on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart. His catalog includes songs such as "He's Able," "Well Done," "Have Your Way," "Never Be the Same," "Sinner's Prayer," "God is Good," "Love Him Like I Do," and "Back to Life."
Haddon has served as a pastor at the Unity Cathedral of Faith in Detroit. He has also appeared as a cast member on the reality television series *Preachers of L.A.* and has been involved in film production, including projects such as *Blessed and Cursed* and *A Beautiful Soul*. A three-time Grammy Award nominee, he is also a multiple Stellar Award winner, receiving honors including Male Vocalist of the Year and Contemporary Choir of the Year.
