About Fred Hammond
Frederick William Hammond was born on December 27, 1960, and is an American gospel singer, bass guitar player, and record producer. He gained early recognition as a bass player for the gospel group The Winans and was a founding member of the influential group Commissioned in 1985. Hammond is widely credited as an architect of the "Urban Praise & Worship" genre and is the founder and CEO of Face to Face Productions.
Throughout his career, Hammond has released numerous solo albums and projects with the group Radical for Christ. His catalog includes notable releases such as *Pages of Life – Chapters I & II*, *Free to Worship*, *The Inner Court*, *Deliverance*, *Love Unstoppable*, and *I Am Persuaded*. Songs like "No Weapon" and "Let The Praise Begin" are part of his recorded work. He has been a consistent presence on Billboard's Gospel charts.
