Housefires

Housefires is a worship music collective formed in 2014 in Atlanta, Georgia. The group originated from the worship community at Grace Midtown Church, with founding members including Pat Barrett and Matt Reynolds. The collective grew to include various worship leaders and musicians over time, becoming known for a raw, organic, and community-centric approach to worship music. Their name is a metaphor for the vision of seeing "houses on fire" with the presence of God through communal worship. The collective has released multiple live albums, including *Housefires*, *Housefires II*, *Housefires III*, and *How To Start A Housefire*. Their music is often characterized by a stripped-back, unrefined sound intended to foster genuine worship experiences. Songs in their catalog include "Build My Life," "Yes and Amen," "I'll Give Thanks," "The Way (New Horizon)," "I Thank God," "Open Space," and "Rest On Us." *Housefires III* charted on multiple Billboard charts. The song "Good Good Father," from the collective's catalog, became a widely recognized song after being covered by Chris Tomlin, reaching the top of the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart. The collective has also collaborated with various artists and worship leaders within the Christian music industry.
