Jonathan McReynolds

Jonathan Caleb McReynolds was born on September 17, 1989, in Chicago, Illinois, and is a Grammy-winning gospel artist. Raised in the New Original Church of God in Christ in Chicago, he began his professional music career in 2012 with the release of *Life Music*. A singer, songwriter, and musician, he plays the piano, guitar, and drums. McReynolds holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Moody Theological Seminary and serves as a professor at Columbia College and Virginia Union University. He is the founder of the Life Room Label and the nonprofit organization Elihu Nation. He is also the author of the book *Before You Climb Any Higher: Valley Wisdom for Mountain Dreams*. His catalog includes songs such as *God Is Good*, *Make Room*, *Cycles* (feat. DOE), *Your World*, and *People*. His albums include *Closer*, *My Truth*, and *Forever Mistletoe*. McReynolds is a two-time Grammy Award winner, a fifteen-time Stellar Award winner, and a four-time GMA Dove Award winner. He has also achieved multiple #1 albums on the Billboard Gospel charts, including *Life Music: Stage Two* and *Make Room*. He is a member of Mensa, an international high IQ society.
