Joyce Omondi

Joyce Omondi is a Kenyan gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader who has been active in the music industry since 2010. Her musical journey began by performing at church gatherings and singing in the church choir in Nairobi. She later studied Economics and Integrated International Studies at Knox College in the United States and holds a Master of Science in International Development from Georgetown University. Omondi’s catalog includes songs such as “Simba Wa Yuda,” “Nifiche,” “Tumaini,” “Naamini,” “Lihimidi Jina Lake,” “Satisfy,” and “Sitaogopa.” In 2013, she won the Groove Award for Video of the Year. She is also the founder of EPIC Women, a faith-based community for women. Omondi is married to media personality Waihiga Mwaura.
