Nichole Nordeman

Nichole Nordeman is an American contemporary Christian singer and songwriter known for her piano-based songwriting and lyrics that explore faith and personal struggles. Born Nichole Ellyse Nordeman on January 3, 1972, she grew up in Colorado, where she played piano in church. Her career began after she won a Gospel Music Association (GMA) contest in Los Angeles. Nordeman has released multiple studio albums, including *Wide Eyed*, *This Mystery*, *Woven & Spun*, and *Brave*. Her catalog includes songs such as "Holy," "Brave," "Legacy," "Every Season," "What If," "Dear Me," "Every Mile Mattered," and "Why." "Holy" reached number one on the Christian AC radio charts, and "Brave" reached number one on the Billboard Christian Songs chart. She is a nine-time GMA Dove Award winner, including two wins for Female Vocalist of the Year in 2001 and 2003.
