Rivers & Robots

Rivers & Robots was an English worship band formed in 2010 in Salford, Greater Manchester, England. The project was founded by lead vocalist Jonathan Ogden as a solo endeavor before expanding into a full band in 2012. The band’s name reflects their musical style, combining acoustic (“rivers”) and electronic (“robots”) sounds. Their stated mission was to make Jesus known through creative worship, often utilizing lyrics based on Bible passages. The group released five independent studio albums between 2011 and 2018. Their discography includes The Great Light (2011), Take Everything (2012), All Things New (2014), The Eternal Son (2016), Still: Volume 1 (2017), and Discovery (2018). Songs in their catalog include “Overflow” and “My Refuge.” Past members of the band included Jonathan Ogden, Nathan Stirling, Caleb Choo, Philip Shibata, Kelani Koyejo, and David Hailes. The band officially announced a hiatus in early 2021.
