Sarah K, born Sarah Njeri Kiarie on April 30, 1971, is a Kenyan gospel musician and worship leader. Her music career spans over three decades, and she is recognized for her contributions to the African gospel music industry.
She is the founder and leader of the "Back to the Root of Worship" (BTR) ministry. Through this ministry, she hosts a weekly worship gathering known as "Tuesday Worship Moments" at the Nairobi Film Centre. Her catalog includes songs such as "Mnyunyizi Wangu," "Niinue (Mbele Ninaendelea)," "Nina Sababu Ya Kukuabudu," "Gacumbiri (Pale Kilele)," "Nimekuja Kusema," "Unaitwa Jehovah," "Usiyeshindwa," and "Sio Mimi."
In 2014, she was the winner of the Groove Award for Female Artist of the Year. In 2021, she received an honorary Doctorate in Music Ministry from Brekford University and the Theological Seminary of the United States. Sarah K is married to Rev. Samuel Mwangi Thubi, a pastor in the Anglican Church.
