Aline Barros

Aline Barros Kistenmacker dos Santos was born on October 7, 1976, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and has become a prominent singer, songwriter, and performer in contemporary Christian and gospel music. She began singing at age two and joined her church's praise team at age nine. At age 14, she recorded her first solo song, "Thy Word." Alongside her music career, she earned a degree in Marine Biology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Barros is married to Gilmar Santos, a former professional football player who transitioned into ministry. She is also identified as an evangelical pastor at the Comunidade Evangélica Internacional da Zona Sul in Rio de Janeiro. Her catalog includes songs such as "Ressuscita-me," "Sonda-me, Usa-me," "Casa do Pai," "Jeová Jireh," "Rendido Estou (Arms Open Wide)," "Autor da Vida," "Primeira Essência," and "Digno É O Senhor." Throughout her career, Barros has released numerous albums, several of which have received Diamond certifications from the Associação Brasileira dos Produtores de Discos (ABPD).
