Cody Carnes

Cody Carnes is an American contemporary Christian music singer, songwriter, and worship pastor. He grew up in a musical family in Texas and began leading worship in his youth group at age 13 or 14. His focus as a worship leader has been on creating spaces for authentic worship. Carnes is married to fellow Christian artist Kari Jobe, with whom he frequently collaborates on music and ministry. Together, they serve at their home church, The Belonging Co, in Nashville, Tennessee. His debut solo album, *The Darker The Night / The Brighter The Morning*, was released in 2017. His catalog includes songs such as "The Blessing (Live)," "Firm Foundation (He Won't)," "Nothing Else," "Christ Be Magnified," "Run To The Father," "Good (Can't Be Anything Else)," and "Ain't Nobody." In 2020, Carnes earned two GRAMMY Award nominations, including Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for "The Blessing (Live)."
