Jack Alexander & Tom Alexander

Jack Alexander and Tom Alexander, known professionally as the Alexander Brothers, were a Scottish musical duo who recorded gospel and inspirational music. The brothers were born in Cambusnethan, near Wishaw, Scotland, with Jack Alexander (1935–2013) and Tom Alexander (1934–2020). They began their professional career in the 1950s. Their musical repertoire included folk, country, and inspirational music. Jack Alexander played the piano, while Tom Alexander played the accordion. Early in their career, they were known for performing at charitable institutions and hospitals. The duo’s catalog of gospel recordings includes hymns and standards such as "Whispering Hope," "The Old Rugged Cross," "Lord of the Dance," "The Day Thou Gavest," "Morning Has Broken," "Bless This House," "My Forever Friend," and "I Have a Dream."
