About Neema Gospel Choir
Neema Gospel Choir is a gospel music group based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The ensemble is composed of born-again Christian singers who are members of the Africa Inland Church (AICT) in Chang'ombe. The choir is known for performing Swahili gospel music and worship songs, with their sound often featuring live instrumentation and vocal harmonies.
The group has released a number of songs, including "Msalabani," "Yesu Nakupenda," "Amani Ya Kweli," "Temporary," "Nikubali Yesu," "Nguvu Yetu," and "Mguso." They have collaborated with various gospel artists, including Paul Clement, and are associated with the "Worship in Spirit" music project.
In 2021, the group reportedly won the Tanzanian Award for Best Gospel Music Group in East Africa.
