Temporary

Neema Gospel Choir keeps "Temporary" bilingual throughout rather than translating once and continuing in English — "mateso unayopitia ni temporary" ("your sufferings are temporary"), "shida unazopitia ni temporary" ("the struggles you are going through are temporary"), "magumu unayopitia ni temporary" ("the difficulties you are going through are temporary"). Each specific hardship gets named separately in Swahili before the same English word closes it.

"Tokea mwanzo, tumekusudiwa, tumeahidiwa, baraka za Bwana" ("from the beginning, we are destined, we are promised, the blessings of the Lord") states identity and promise before ever mentioning hardship, so the later difficulties are framed against a foundation already established rather than a blank slate.

"We are more than conquerors, tunashinda zaidi ya kushinda, we are conquerors more than conquerors, through Christ" closes the song by quoting Paul directly in both languages back to back, letting the repetition itself carry the weight rather than adding further explanation.
