Nicole C. Mullen, born Aileen Nicole Coleman-Mullen on January 3, 1967, in Cincinnati, Ohio, is an American singer, songwriter, and choreographer known for her work in Christian music. Before launching her solo career, she worked as a professional background vocalist and choreographer for artists including Michael W. Smith and Amy Grant. Mullen’s songwriting has earned her significant recognition. She co-wrote the song "On My Knees," which won the 1998 GMA Dove Award for Song of the Year. She later wrote "Redeemer," which won the 2001 GMA Dove Award for Song of the Year. That same year, she was also honored with the GMA Dove Award for Songwriter of the Year and for Pop/Contemporary Record of the Year. Her catalog includes songs such as "My Redeemer Lives," "Call On Jesus," "The God Who Sees," and the album releases *Captivated (Deluxe Edition)* and *Crown Him: Hymns Old & New*. A multiple GMA Dove Award-winning and Grammy-nominated artist, Mullen was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame in 2011. Her career has included significant work in Christian ministry and storytelling through music.
