Nivea Soares

Nívea Soares is a Brazilian Christian singer, songwriter, worship pastor, author, and television presenter. Born Nívea da Costa Pinto Soares on July 25, 1976, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, she grew up in a Christian home and began singing in her church’s worship team during childhood. In 1998, she became a member of the worship ministry Diante do Tronto, a prominent group associated with the Lagoinha Baptist Church. Her solo career began with the release of the album *Reina Sobre Mim* in 2003. She followed this with a series of albums including *Enche-me de Ti* (2005), *Fan the Fire* (2006), *Rio* (2007), *Glória e Honra* (2012), *Reino de Justiça* (2016), and *Jesus* (2019). In 2022, she released *Teu Amor Não Falha - Versão Estendida (Ao Vivo)*. Nívea Soares is married to music producer Gustavo Soares and continues to serve as a worship pastor at Lagoinha Baptist Church.
