Stanley Brown

Stanley Brown is an American musician, songwriter, and record producer in the gospel music industry. A native of Brooklyn, New York, he began his career playing organ and drums for local churches. In 1985, he co-founded the Love Fellowship Crusade Choir with Hezekiah Walker, and he is credited with helping cultivate the musical style known as the "Brooklyn Bounce." Brown has also served as a music executive, holding roles as Head of A&R for RCA Inspirational and Vice President of A&R for Island Black Music. He has worked as a music director for artists including Michelle Williams. In 2017, he launched his own label, Timeless Music Group. As a recording artist, Brown released the song "God Is Good," featuring Karen Clark Sheard, Hezekiah Walker, and Kierra Sheard. The track earned him a Grammy Award nomination for Best Gospel Performance/Song in 2024. He also received a Grammy nomination in the same category in 2017 for the song "It's Alright, It's Ok." His catalog also includes the song "Meant For Me," featuring Christopher Williams, Eric Bellinger, and Jason Nelson.
