Highlands Worship

Highlands Worship is the official worship ministry of Church of the Highlands, a non-denominational megachurch based in Birmingham, Alabama. The church was founded in 2001 by Pastor Chris Hodges and operates as a multisite church with numerous campuses. The worship ministry features a large team of musicians, songwriters, and worship leaders who serve during weekend services, creating music often characterized as contemporary worship. Highlands Worship has released multiple live albums, studio albums, and EPs, including *Here I Surrender* and *Jesus You Alone*. Their catalog includes songs such as “Call Upon the Name,” “Place of Freedom,” “Jesus You Alone,” “Heaven Is My Home,” “The Name of Jesus,” “Shepherd,” and “Who Is Like The Lord.” The album *Jesus You Alone* (2019) reached No. 1 on the SoundScan Praise and Worship chart. Through their recordings, Highlands Worship has transitioned from leading congregational worship at their local church to providing music used by worship teams in other settings.
