Selah

Selah is a contemporary Christian vocal trio formed in 1997. The group is known for blending traditional hymns with contemporary pop, world music, and Southern gospel elements. Original members included siblings Todd and Nicol Smith, along with Allan Hall. The current members of the group are Todd Smith, Allan Hall, and Amy Perry. Todd Smith and Nicol Smith spent their childhood in Sub-Saharan Africa as children of missionaries, an experience that influenced the group's musical style. Selah has sold over 4 million albums and singles combined. The group has performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Ryman Auditorium. Selah has won 11 Gospel Music Association (GMA) Dove Awards, including several for Inspirational Album of the Year. The album *Hiding Place* (2004) was certified Gold and spent over 20 weeks on the Billboard 200. The title track "You Amaze Us" debuted at #1 on the Christian Soft AC chart. The group's catalog includes songs such as "Wonderful, Merciful Savior," "You Are My Hiding Place," "You Raise Me Up," "Press On," "Be Still My Soul," "At This Table," and the album *Greatest Hymns, Vol. 3*.
