Candy West

Candy West is a professional gospel recording artist, worship leader, and pastor. She was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. West began her professional music career as a background singer for Kirk Franklin and God’s Property. She is the daughter of gospel singer Tommye Young-West. Over more than 30 years, she has combined experience in the music industry and ministry leadership. She has served as a worship leader at ministries including The Potter’s House of Dallas and Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship. West is the founder and Lead Pastor of Convergence Worship Center in Huntsville. She is also a certified life coach and entrepreneur, and she founded Talent Suite Entertainment, an artist development company. Her solo album is titled *Candy West Live*. Her catalog includes songs such as “Watch God Work It Out,” “Safe in His Arms,” and “Great and Mighty Is He (Live).” She has also been featured on tracks including “Glory Rise” with Cristabel Clack, “Glory Up,” “That Name,” and “You’re Still Good.”
