Francesca LaRosa

Francesca LaRosa is a Catholic composer, singer-songwriter, and speaker based in Indianapolis, Indiana. She holds a degree in music education from Ball State University and previously served as a music director at her home parish for several years. Her liturgical music, particularly her word-for-word Psalm settings, is approved by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and the International Committee on English in the Liturgy (ICEL). Her catalog includes songs such as "Psalm 40: Here Am I, Lord; I Come To Do Your Will (Metered Verses)," "Psalm 40: Lord, Come To My Aid! (Metered Verses)," "Psalm 27: The Lord Is My Light (Gospel Choir Version)," and "The Surrender Novena." She has also collaborated with fellow Catholic artist Sarah Hart on songs including "My Soul Proclaims (The Magnificat)," "Holy Ground," "The Angelus," and "Angel of God." LaRosa has been recognized with the Best New Singer award at the first annual Catholic Music Awards in Rome and the International Marian Award from the Pontifical International Marian Academy at the Vatican. She launched an instrumental piano project titled "Keys of Peace," which has been featured on the Catholic prayer app Hallow. Her ministry includes leading cantor workshops, retreats, and concerts, and she creates and performs music for both liturgical use and prayer services.
