Phil Thompson

Phil Thompson is a contemporary gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader. A Boston, Massachusetts native, he was a member of the urban contemporary gospel group Ashmont Hill before beginning his solo career. He also serves as a worship leader at Jubilee Christian Church. Thompson launched his solo career in 2017 with the single "My Worship." His debut solo album, also titled *My Worship*, was released in 2018 and reached #1 on the Billboard gospel charts. He did not begin writing his own music until he was 30 years old. His catalog also includes the albums *Lion of Judah* and *Take It All - Live in Abuja*, as well as the singles "Atmosphere Shift" and "Jesus, Lamb of God." In addition to his own recordings, Thompson has composed songs for artists including JJ Hairston and Jubilee Worship. His ministry has taken him to perform in Ghana, Nigeria, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Canada, and the Caribbean Islands. He has received nominations for both Dove and Stellar Awards.
