Você É Precioso

Encouragement for someone who has fallen is the whole of this Portuguese song. "Só porque caiu, não é motivo pra você desanimar" ("just because you fell is no reason to be discouraged"), it begins, and adds "todo ser humano um dia pode errar; a diferença é quem escolhe se levantar." The idea of rising after a fall resembles Proverbs 24:16.

The chorus turns to worth. "Você não é descartável, não se jogue fora... você não é objeto que perde o valor" ("you are not disposable... you are not an object that loses value"), and "você não tem preço, pra Deus é precioso" ("you are priceless, precious to God"). That language is close to Isaiah 43:4, where God says "you are precious in my sight."

A jewel image carries the middle: "se a jóia não para de brilhar, você não vai parar," and "a pedra mais brilhante que o Senhor já fez brilhar" ("the brightest stone the Lord ever made shine"), echoing Psalm 139:14's idea of being wonderfully made. The line "não deixe o seu passado apagar seu futuro" ("don't let your past erase your future") repeats at the end, with the chorus coming back several times.
