[Verse 1]
When I wake up in the morning
First thing I do is give Him praise
Because I know it wasn't luck
That carried me through yesterday
No weapon formed against me
Will ever have the final word
My confidence is in the Lord
That's all I need to know
I've seen Him come through too many times
The question in the day
If He was faithful back then
He's faithful still today
What He placed inside my life
Is more than able to keep
So I keep walking everyday
Trusting every step with Him
[Pre-Chorus]
I don't fight flesh and blood
I know what I'm up against
But I'm not exposed
I'm dressed for this
[Chorus]
I'm fully armored
Fully protected
Fully covered
No weapon can touch me
I'm fully armored
Head to my feet
Truth on my lips
And faith surrounding me
I'm fully armored
I don't play scared
When I step forward
Heaven steps back
I'm fully armored
Say it again
I'm fully armored
[Verse 2]
When I get on my knees
I don't pray weak, God
No, I pray small
I pray like I believe
We the devil can't stop
What God already approved
Every promise spoken over me
Is already in motion
Already in tune
When I speak, I speak with authority
Not arrogance, but certainty
I know the God who walks with me
I know the God who covers me
I know the God I serve
And He has never failed me
[Chorus]
I'm fully armored
Fully protected
Fully covered
No weapon can touch me
I'm fully armored
Head to my feet
Truth on my lips
And faith surrounding me
I'm fully armored
I don't play scared
When I step forward
Heaven steps back
I'm fully armored
Say it again
I'm fully armored
[Bridge]
I don't walk like I walk prepared
I know this road
I know this war
I don't underestimate what's trying to come for me
But I also don't forget what's already inside of me
I'm a Holy Ghost kind of girl
I don't come empty-handed
I got fire in me
And I know how to use it
If something tries to block my path
I don't panic, I stand firm
'Cause God didn't dress me halfway
Covered every part of me
[Chorus]
I'm fully armored
Fully protected
Fully covered
No weapon can touch me
I'm fully armored
Head to my feet
Truth on my lips
And faith surrounding me
I'm fully armored
I don't play scared
When I step forward
Heaven steps back
I'm fully armored
Say it again
I'm fully armored
[Outro]
I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid
I've got nothing to lose
I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid
I'm fully armored
Fully protected
I don't play scared
I'm fully armored
Built for the fight
When I show up
Heaven arrives
Devil move back
You can't stop what God already backed
I'm fully armored
I know who I am
I know who I serve
I'm fully armored
Fully Armored
Song Meaning
Delana Hope builds "Fully Armored" around a morning habit: praise first, because yesterday was carried by more than luck. From there the verses stack up testimony. "No weapon formed against me" will have the final word, and the God who proved faithful back then is "faithful still today." The pre-chorus names the opposition, "I don't fight flesh and blood," and answers with a plain claim: not exposed, but dressed for this.
The chorus is a chant of protection, running from head to feet with "truth on my lips" and faith all around. Its confidence rests on position rather than bravado, and the second verse says so directly, speaking "with authority, not arrogance, but certainty." The singer also describes prayer as something believed rather than pleaded, with promises already "in motion."
The bridge turns more personal and spoken, a self-description as a "Holy Ghost kind of girl" who stands firm instead of panicking because God "didn't dress me halfway." The outro repeats "I'm not afraid" until it settles into "I know who I am, I know who I serve." The imagery draws on the armor of Ephesians 6 and the promise of Isaiah 54:17.
