[Chorus]
If God says go, you gotta go
If God says go, you gotta go
If God says go, you gotta go
If God says go, you gotta
Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go!
Let's go!
Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go!
If God says go, you gotta go!
[Verse 1]
Someone's gotta do it
That man might be me
Pray to God and He'll set you free
(Achoo!)
Wait, I already know I'm blessed
Always training, never rest
If coach put me in, I'ma go until the game stop
Numbers going up, it's like 2020 GameStop
Go till the whole world knows
This is not a show
If God says go, you gotta
Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go!
Let's go!
Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go!
If God says go, you gotta go!
[Verse 2]
Price came down for the lease
That's me
Who else makin' us free?
Shout out the Captain, the Captain
He open my eyes, now I get to see
Get it?
That's deep
Really like pull up a seat, let's eat
Lowkey, the King of Kings will speak like
(Woo!)
Livin' life holy is peak now
Now I got a kingdom to seek now
I just wanna strengthen the weak now
And I got a gospel to bring now
Wow, I gotta live this out
How? Spreading His great renowned
Wow, never let them sit you down
Now, can I put Jesus on everything?
(Woo!)
Okay
[Verse 3]
Little light of mine
I will shine quiet but quite divine
You got a god, but buddy, He is not like mine
Father, hand me the mission
The day that I hear you out
Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go!
Let's go!
Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go!
If God says go, you gotta go!
[Bridge]
Two fish, five loaves
I got my bread up
Heaven always on my mind
I keep my head up
Every city that we go, we on the home team
We don't take no losses, we take the trophy
My God made the ocean
Callin' plays like motion
If He tell me walk on water, best believe I'm coasting
I'm not a sellout, I'm sold out
God want it all, I can't hold out
I got a faith that won't fold out
Coming in too hot, slow down
Yeah, go, go, go, go
We gotta push to the limit
We are not of it, just in it
I run my race to the finish
Go, go, go, go
I got my eyes on the goal
Yeah, you know who's in control
If God says go, you gotta
[Outro]
Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go!
Let's go!
Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go!
If God says go, you gotta
GO! GO! GO!
Song Meaning
One line carries the whole track: "If God says go, you gotta go." Forrest Frank, KB and Lecrae stack it as the hook and then chant "Go!" seven times over, treating obedience as the natural answer to any call from God. The first verse volunteers before the assignment is even clear ("Someone's gotta do it / That man might be me") and borrows the language of training and the game clock: "If coach put me in, I'ma go until the game stop."
Verse two shifts from readiness to purpose. The rapper wants "a kingdom to seek," "a gospel to bring," and a chance to "strengthen the weak," even asking whether he can "put Jesus on everything." Verse three recalls the "little light of mine" image and prays, "Father, hand me the mission." The bridge reaches for miracles, with "Two fish, five loaves" and "If He tell me walk on water, best believe I'm coasting," then draws a line between belonging to God and living in the world: "We are not of it, just in it."
Scripture echoes run close to the surface: Isaiah's "Here am I; send me," Peter stepping out of the boat, and Jesus' prayer that his followers are not of the world. The song stays upbeat and playful, with ad-libs and jokes, but its claim is plain: faith shows up as movement.
