Hillsong Worship builds this one around a single image — shelter — before naming the source directly. "Hide me now under Your wings, cover me within Your mighty hand" echoes Psalm 91:4's picture of God covering the one who trusts him "with his feathers," refuge offered as something physical and near rather than abstract.

"I will be still and know You are God" quotes Psalm 46:10 outright, a psalm written in the middle of the earth being "changed" and mountains "shaken into the heart of the seas" — not calm circumstances. "Find rest my soul in Christ alone, know His power in quietness and trust" pulls the same thread through, treating trust and quietness as connected rather than opposites; the storm in the chorus doesn't go away, the song just insists on where to stand while it's happening.
