Hillsong Worship keeps this one deliberately spare — three short verses, each naming one attribute before repeating "reaches to me." "You are my strength, strength like no other" echoes Psalm 18:2's declaration, "Yahweh is my rock, my fortress... my strength, in whom I will trust."
The bridge, "Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, Your faithfulness reaches to the sky," quotes Psalm 36:5 almost verbatim: "your loving kindness, Yahweh, is in the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies." The song doesn't add much to the psalm's own language so much as set it to a repeating melody — the simplicity is the point, three attributes stated plainly rather than elaborated on.
Verse 1:
You are my strength
Strength like no other
Strength like no other
Reaches to me
Verse 2:
You are my hope
Hope like no other
Hope like no other
Reaches to me
Chorus:
In the fullness of Your grace
In the power of Your Name
You lift me up
You lift me up
Verse 3:
Unfailing love
Stronger than mountains
Deeper than oceans
Reaches to me
Bridge:
Your love O Lord
Reaches to the heavens
Your faithfulness
Reaches to the sky
