Song Meaning
Fear drives the hook: "I'm scared of what I'd lose / If I gave it all to You." Hulvey spends the verse on honest questions. Would God take "my lust for fame and then the music too"? Would He replace the darkest lies with truth? What if there is never a deal and he is "scrubbing these same toilets my whole life"? Would God still be enough?
