Anticipation

Expectation is the feeling in the opening lines: "I feel anticipation, feels like when the wind blows through the trees, there's a hope and I can taste it, ready to explode inside our praise." A prayer follows, "I can hear You calling... I feel Your Spirit moving, come and multiply my faith," which recalls the wind image of John 3:8 and the disciples' request in Luke 17:5.

The chorus quotes Psalm 24:7: "Open every door, let earth and heaven roar, fling wide you heavenly gates, here let Your kingdom reign, behold the glory King, honor His majesty." It ends in a command, "throw high your praise and come awake."

A bridge deals with the limits of words. "There is no language that could ever form words around Your grace, no amount of pages could describe what You've done inside this place... there is no religion that could box You in." The closing repeats "we've only just begun to see Your goodness, we've only just begun to sing Your praise," in the spirit of Ephesians 3:20 about God doing more than we imagine.
