"Behold! The Alpha and Omega, beginning and the end" lifts Revelation 22:13's self-description from Jesus directly — "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End." "In Him we will never, never thirst again" answers the same chapter's invitation to "the one who is thirsty" to "come," naming the specific need the whole song's repeated "come" is addressed to.
