Jesus Is

Point of Grace opens "Jesus Is" with an instruction about volume rather than content — "speak a little softer so I can hear you above the noise, the noise, the noise in this world" — and "you don't have to shout it for hearts to listen, just be a still, small voice" borrows the language Elijah heard at Horeb almost directly.

The chorus answers that quiet with a list rather than a single title — "the way, the truth, He is the light, for me, for you, for the world tonight, our hope, the meaning of this life" — stacking short claims instead of building one long argument, and the repeated "Jesus is, Jesus is" leaves each sentence intentionally unfinished until the next line completes it.

"Everybody's looking, but how will they find it, the road to happiness unless they're told" names the actual problem as a missing message, not a missing desire, and "that love is the answer to the ultimate question" answers the search plainly instead of complicating it further. The final repetition drops every filler line and repeats only the source phrase itself, "the way, the truth, the light," closing the song on scripture's own words rather than commentary on them.
