Song Meaning
An anthem built for the moment a congregation decides it has had enough of shrinking back, "Walking Like Giants" turns the language of uphill battles and encircling mountains into a declaration of courage. The opening lines name the weight honestly — life can feel like more than anyone can carry — before pivoting to the claim that hope is real and that power lives inside believers. The lion-hearted imagery and the deliberate echo of a spirit not given to fear reframe hardship as something smaller than the strength available. Soldiers marching forward, impossibilities dismissed, fire and rain survived: the song stacks one image of resilience on another, refusing to let the obstacles have the last word. What keeps it from becoming mere self-help bravado is the repeated reminder that Christ stays with us at every step; the confidence is borrowed, not self-generated. The chorus returns like a pledge, and the bridge's insistence on rising above whatever comes gives the track its marching rhythm. It closes where it began, with feet planted and voices raised, daring the listener to walk taller than their circumstances.

Life seems like a uphill battle
Like more than you can handle
But we have a hope that it's real
And there's power that lives inside us
We were made with hearts like lions
We're not given a spirit of fear
His strength inside us, we are fighters
Made to rise, with faith alive
We're standing Ten-Feet high
We're not giving up, when struggles come
There're not big enough
There's no stopping us, we're fearless inside
We're walking like giants
We're not giving up, with every step
He's still here with us
Whatever comes our way
We'll be walking like giants
Walking like giants
It might seem like the biggest mountains
Got you surrounded
But there's a God above it all
No fear, we keep moving forward
Ya, we're marching on like soldiers
No such thing as impossible
We're not giving up, when struggles come
There're not big enough
There's no stopping us, we're fearless inside
We're walking like giants
We're not giving up, with every step
He's still here with us
Whatever comes our way
We'll be walking like giants
Walking like giants
Whatever may come, we're rising above
Through fire or rain, nothings stopping us [x2]
We're not giving up, when struggles come
There're not big enough
There's no stopping us, we're fearless inside
We're walking like giants
We're not giving up, with every step
He's still here with us
Whatever comes our way
We'll be walking like giants
Walking like giants
Whatever may come, we're rising above
Through fire or rain, nothings stopping us [x2]
