[Verse]
I'm not born of a father's seed
Yes, I came as an answer
Yes, I came as an answer to many prayers
Yes, I came as an answer to many cries
I'm not born of a father's seed
Yes, I'm born of a holy ghost
[Chorus]
Yes, I came as an answer to many prayers
Yes, I came as an answer to many cries
I came by prayer
I will stay in prayer
When I leave this world, I will go in prayer
I came by prayer
I will stay in prayer
When I leave this world, I will go in prayer
[Bridge]
I came by prayer
I will stay in prayer
When I leave this world, I will go in prayer
I came by prayer
I will stay in prayer
When I leave this world, I will go in prayer
I came by prayer
I will stay in prayer
When I leave this world, I will go in prayer
[Outro]
So I will pray
Pray, pray
Pray, pray
So I will pray
Pray, pray
Pray, pray
So I will pray
Pray, pray
Pray, pray
So I will pray
Pray, pray
Pray, pray
I came by prayer
When I leave this world
I came by prayer
When I will leave this world
I will go in prayer
I'm not drunk with wine
I'm filled with the spirit

Song Meaning
The song opens with a striking claim of origin: the singer is "not born of a father's seed" but born of the Holy Ghost, framing their very existence as an answer to accumulated prayers and cries. That testimony becomes the engine of the chorus, which repeats a three-part resolve — arriving by prayer, remaining in prayer, and departing this world in prayer. The bridge and outro don't add new ideas so much as intensify the same phrase through repetition, turning it into a mantra, until the closing lines pivot to a different kind of filling: not drunk with wine but filled with the Spirit. The effect is a song that treats prayer less as a practice and more as the substance of a life, from beginning to end. Its plainspoken, declarative style and the way it builds by repetition suggest a congregational setting where a single confession is meant to be echoed back by many voices.
