About Anthony Evans
Anthony Tyrone Evans Jr. was born on July 14, 1978, in Dallas, Texas, and is a Billboard-charting gospel artist, producer, and worship leader. He is the son of Dr. Tony Evans, a prominent senior pastor, and the late Lois Evans. Evans attended Liberty University, where he focused on music and ministry.
He gained national attention as a contestant on season two of NBC’s The Voice in 2012. His recorded catalog includes studio albums such as Even More (2004), Letting Go (2006), and Real Life/Real Worship (2014). Other albums in his discography include Altared, The Bridge, and Home. Songs associated with his work include “Meaningless,” “You’re Not Finished,” “Even If,” and “Ever Be.”
In 2018, Evans performed in a production of Beauty and the Beast. He is also an author, having written the memoir Unexpected Places: Thoughts On God, Faith, And Finding Your Voice.
