Hollyn

Hollyn, the stage name of Holly Marie Wilson, is a singer-songwriter in contemporary Christian music known for blending pop and R&B with faith-centered themes. She was born Holly Marie Miller on January 3, 1997, in Waverly, Ohio, and grew up in a Christian home, beginning to sing in church at a young age. She first gained public attention as a contestant on season 12 of *American Idol* in 2013. Her professional music career developed with Gotee Records, the label co-founded by TobyMac. She released her self-titled debut EP, *Hollyn*, in 2015, followed by her first full-length album, *One-Way Conversations*, in 2017. The album charted at number six on the Billboard Christian Albums chart. She has frequently collaborated with TobyMac, appearing on tracks including "Lights Shine Bright" and "Backseat Driver." Hollyn has expressed a desire to use her music to share her faith and personal vulnerability. Her later releases include the EP *Bye, Sad Girl* in 2019 and the album *Holy Rebellion* in 2021.
