Love Has Been Spoken

Building 429's “Love Has Been Spoken” speaks to someone who has fallen and cannot get up. It asks what you say to yourself in the mirror after you have fallen, whether you feel small and too weak to stand, and what it is like to be on your knees wishing you could find a way to hide your fear.

The verses admit that hope is hard to see when pain is all a person knows. The pre-chorus answers with the fact that you are fearfully and wonderfully made and not a mistake. The chorus then declares that if you could only see, his arms are wide open, and it is okay to be humbled and broken, so let your heart be free because love has been spoken. The second verse tells listeners to hold their heads high, since they were born to shine this light, and that no matter what anyone says, they are loved and safe.
