"No crown upon His head, He came like us instead" repeats the same reversal from the opening lines in the chorus's own terms. "It was no mistake that He arrived lost without a home, helpless as a baby" insists the vulnerability itself was intentional, not an unfortunate detail of the story. "He meets you where you are, He holds your heavy heart" applies that same deliberate lowliness directly to whoever is currently listening, not only to the original shepherds and travelers.
