[Verse 1]
How many angels at your throne
But none of them can open up the scroll
It’s yours alone
[Verse 2]
How many saints have joined the song
And still there’s room for us to sing along
Forevermore
[Chorus]
Holy, holy
Holy, holy
Is the Lord
Is the Lord
Holy, holy
Holy, holy
Is the Lord
Is the Lord
[Verse 3]
How many kings with earthly crowns
Before your feet will surely cast them down
They’re worthless now
[Verse 4]
How worthy is the Lamb of God
Who was and is and surely is to come
You’re here with us
[Chorus]
Holy, holy
Holy, holy
Is the Lord
Is the Lord
Holy, holy
Holy, holy
Is the Lord
Is the Lord
[Bridge]
And everybody shout, "Holy!"
Everybody cry, "Worthy!"
And glory fills the room
Your glory fills the room
And everybody shout, "Holy!"
Everybody cry, "Worthy!"
And glory fills the room
Your glory fills the room
[Chorus]
Holy, holy
Holy, holy
Is the Lord
Is the Lord
Holy, holy
Holy, holy
Is the Lord
Is the Lord
[Bridge]
And everybody shout, "Holy!"
Everybody cry, "Worthy!"
And glory fills the room
Your glory fills the room
And everybody shout, "Holy!"
Everybody cry, "Worthy!"
And glory fills the room
Your glory fills the room
[Bridge]
When you’re in the room
Heaven can happen
When you’re in the room
Nothing else matters
When you’re in the room
Heaven can happen
When you’re in the room
Nothing else matters
[Bridge]
When you’re in the room
Heaven can happen
When you’re in the room
Nothing else matters
When you’re in the room
Heaven can happen
When you’re in the room
Nothing else matters
[Bridge]
When you’re in the room
Heaven can happen
When you’re in the room
Nothing else matters
When you’re in the room
Heaven can happen
When you’re in the room
Nothing else matters
[Bridge]
When you’re in the room
Heaven can happen
When you’re in the room
Nothing else matters
When you’re in the room
Heaven can happen
When you’re in the room
Nothing else matters
[Outro]

Song Meaning
Questions drive the verses: “How many angels at your throne” and none can open the scroll, “How many saints have joined the song,” and “How many kings with earthly crowns” will cast them down. John Wilds and Tiffany Hudson borrow the throne-room scenes of Revelation, where only the Lamb is found worthy to open the scroll, and let every question land on the same answer: it is “yours alone.”
The chorus strips everything back to “Holy, holy … Is the Lord,” the cry the living creatures sing in Revelation 4:8. A shouted bridge follows, “Everybody shout, ‘Holy!’ / Everybody cry, ‘Worthy!’,” before the lyric names the room itself: “When you’re in the room / Heaven can happen.” The line “Nothing else matters” is repeated until it becomes the whole claim of the closing section.
A short outro, “King of glory … Is the Lord,” draws on Psalm 24. Verse four ties the heavenly picture to the present, calling the Lamb of God the one “who was and is and surely is to come” and adding “You’re here with us.” Revelation 5:12, Revelation 4:8 and Psalm 24:10 stand behind the song.
