Land of Color builds this song around a promise repeated until it can't be missed — "there is a love that never will run dry," offered to "every soul" without exception. The song doesn't ask for qualifications first; the love is described as already "waiting for you," not something to be earned before it arrives.

What makes the song more than a slogan is its honesty about resistance — "don't let your fear slow you down" — acknowledging that receiving this kind of love takes an actual choice: "open your heart and let it come right in... let it meet your heart's deepest cry."

David asks God to satisfy that same deep longing in Psalm 42:1, comparing his soul's thirst to a deer panting for water, and Psalm 37:4 promises that delighting in God shapes the desires of the heart rather than just answering them. Land of Color's title becomes literal in that collision — not a love competing with a person's dreams, but one that finally meets them.
