Faith and Wonder + Break Every Chain

Lydia Shaw builds this cover as two songs functioning like one argument — a name described as one that "shakes the mountain tops" and "breaks the curses off," followed directly by a second song insisting on exactly what that name can do: "break every chain."

The repetition across both halves isn't padding; it's emphasis. "There is power in the name of Jesus" repeats until it becomes the load-bearing line of the whole medley, with "full of faith and wonder" answering it as the only appropriate response — "I will say no other name but Yours."

Paul writes in Philippians 2:9-11 that God gave Jesus "a name which is above every name," and Peter tells the religious leaders in Acts 4:12 there is "none other name" by which anyone can be saved. Shaw's pairing of the two songs makes the theology plain: the name that's above every name is also the one strong enough to break whatever's still holding someone down.
