The Glory Of The Lamb

Mali Music's “The Glory Of The Lamb” is a short spoken-and-sung call to return to worship. The first verse is addressed to the listener, saying that people have become insubordinate, and then lists what each part of the body is for: mouths to praise, hands to wave, feet to dance and souls to save. He argues that if the church can return to a place of worship, everything will be okay.

The chorus is a vow to sing songs to the glory of the Lamb, followed by a shout of hallelujah. In the second verse he says that, contrary to popular belief, people are conceived and brought forth with purpose, and that purpose is to worship. He claims the enemy knows that if believers go back to that, they will gain power over him. So he encourages brothers and sisters to return to the threshing floor, because judgment is coming, and brokenness, hurt and pain will no longer hurt. The vamp chants the word Lamb and then repeats a plea to go back and worship. The recording is built on soulful vocals and a loose, live feel. Its message is that worship is a first calling that restores people, and not a side activity. It would fit a service intended to refocus a congregation or a personal playlist for reflection.
